How often does a student in a class of 30 get to choose their own coursework? Students who participate in the Virtual Internship Program do that every day—by selecting which tools they need to design their own ideas and experiments. As a result, they tailor the curriculum to their own preferences, visions, and dreams, using project-based learning. Collaborate and share their ideas with other students —and test their vision against other students nationwide in the sponsored Competitions. It’s a totally personalized curricula within a highly structured group environment.
Get excited about learning again
We all learn concepts more quickly when we are having fun. The Virtual Internship Series makes learning fun for students by teaching them critical STEM skills through topics that excite their imaginations—such as robots, music videos, and cartoon animation. Each learner completes mini-certifications in the different skills they need to perform a task, then tests out those skills on their very own creation. At the end of the course the learner completes a final exam that earns them an endorsed certificate that documents the technical and 21 century skills they have learned. It’s the perfect combination of learning and fun.
