Let’s Dig In

Horticulture and Landscape Design is about helping you add a robust curriculum that delivers technology, horticulture, and landscape to your program.

As an agriculture education teacher, you’re faced with the need to incorporate more technology into your program. You need more than traditional tools to prepare your students to move out into the workforce and be a player in this highly competitive marketplace.

This uniquely designed curriculum gives your students the chance to develop their 3D CAD skills while building upon their knowledge of horticulture. This curriculum has your students working eight different projects to prepare them for whatever they might face from a customer.

Let’s take a closer look.

Horticulture and Landscape Design is a self-contained curriculum that takes your students through the art of 3D CAD to unveiling their unique landscape designs punctuated with the right choices of greenery. Through a certification process, your students will be learning:

  • 3D CAD
  • Plant and Soil Sciences
  • Nursery Operations
  • Greenhouse Management
  • Floriculture
  • Turf Grass Management
  • Landscape Design
  • And many more topics…

Measuring Success

This curriculum is very special to us. It was the flagship curriculum developed by I Support Learning. You can imagine our excitement as we watched this program become a success. Let us clarify success first. As you will learn by working with us, success is not defined by sales numbers. Success is defined by changing the lives of teachers and students.

Our very first customer was Greg Krenke, a high school agriculture teacher from Kansas. Greg shared story after story about how our curriculum made his classroom more efficient and how it affected his students. Some of his students have even gone on to be successful entrepreneurs in landscaping after taking his class.

Horticulture and Landscape Design takes your students into the technical understanding of 3D CAD while allowing them to dream big when it comes to sculpting the landscape into a masterpiece. Best of all, this curriculum will attract students to your program. You’ll see students get excited about learning the tools and techniques to transition from the classroom into the agriculture leaders of tomorrow.

No CAD Experience Necessary

The curriculum is easy to use – no special training is required – really. We teach you and your students all about 3D CAD and Landscape Design through digital videos. And that doesn’t mean that you’ll need to lock yourself away for three months learning the ins-and-outs.

Literally, within a single planning period, you can be ready to implement this curriculum into your class. If a question should arise, you can always call us for answers. We are never more than a phone call or email away.
