Why Teach Horticulture and Landscape Design?
As Agricultural Educators know, horticulture is one of the fastest growing sectors in U.S. agriculture. Clients have high expectations for those they hire to design, plant, and maintain their landscapes. New technologies, like 3-dimensional CAD, are allowing designers to be able to create and present stunning designs to their customers. Horticulturist and landscape designers will need to be educated in how to use technology to enhance the services they provide their customers.
