Why Teach Music Video Production?
You know that many of your students spend much of their free time watching videos on MTV or VH1. You have been thinking, "I want to instill in my students the value of positively contributing to society, not passively watching television". So rather than having your students be consumers of music videos, help them become producers of music videos. You want to teach your students a new method of storytelling. Music Video Production is a powerful way to "hook" the students in the high-tech world of storytelling while teaching the basic skills and concepts behind video creation, editing, and production.
