Why Teach Residential Home Design?
As educators, we must prepare our students for future employment. According to a report by the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the sales of new single-family houses in July 2006 were over 1 million houses. With a million new homes being sold every month, residential construction continues to be a thriving source for careers and an important investment in both time and emotion for every consumer.
